Nov. 1 – afternoon
We've arrived at the most wonderful place to spend the night, Cradle Mountain Lodge. We each have a wonderful cabin, complete with gas fireplace that is operated with a remote control. It's also the only heat in the cabin. Very cool. Phyllis, Judy and I decided that this would be a great place for a Stitcher's Getaway. It's a pity that it's so far from home and isn't easily accessible. This place is part of a wildlife area, so there are few amenities – no TV, no cell phones and no internet connections. At least there is running water and electricity! The picture shows the view from our cabin windows.
