Nov. 1 – lunch

Bakeries here do more than bake breads and sweets. They also make meat pies of all kinds. Think of a small pot pie, but the crust is contained enough that it can be held in the hand. A couple people tried the local specialty of oyster pie, I tried a Cornish pastie (That's pronounced past-ee, not paste-ee.) which is meat and vegetables. We all thought they were really yummy.
