Schooling for children in remote areas

Nov. 9 – School of the Air

The second school is the School of the Air, the Northern Territory's center for distance learning. This is how children on remote cattle stations attend school. It was begun by using radios, but has since moved into the 21st century with computers and live feeds. Once the students have worked their way through the lower grades, they must go to boarding school for high school.
