Nov. 19 – museum
In the museum we saw many Maori artifacts including a war canoe. It is 25 meters long (roughly 80 feet) and holds 100 warriors. This particular canoe was made in 1836. It's impossible to show in a picture just how big this is so you'll just have to take my word for it. (Sorry the one picture is so dark. I hope it will look better when it is seen on a larger screen.
