Nov. 20 – lunch
We stopped at a dairy farm for the second of the home-hosted meals. Dorothy & Ray are a really nice couple and are the 3rd generation of dairy farmers on this property. She has a lovely garden, which we toured, and then we saw the milking shed. And it really is a shed – it doesn't have walls on three sides. They have become an organic farm and it was interesting to hear what hoops they had to jump through in order to become certified organic.
