Nov. 9 – Balloon flight
Judy, Richard, June and I sighed up for the sunrise balloon flight. Does that sound like we had to get up early? Well, you'd be right! We were up at 4 a.m. in order to get to the balloon launch site. Boy was it worth it! We helped set up the balloon (Richard is holding the edge of the balloon so that the fan could fill it with air.) We also helped pack up the whole thing, which was quite dusty work. We were completely covered with fine, red dust. But we got some fantastic shots! This one is the very first ray of sunlight peeking over the horizon.
