Bigger kangaroos
Nov. 6 – a.m.
After another plane trip, this time to Adelaide, we visited Cleland Wildlife Park and fed some kangaroos. This time we saw the red kangaroo which is the largest in Australia, getting up to 8 or 9 feet high for the really big guys. They weren't very happy with the heat and didn't want to move around much, but some of them let us feed them and scratch their chests. Even Richard fed the 'roos. The picture shows a mama kangaroo with a joey in her pouch - see the legs sticking out?

So glad you pointed out the feet of the joey - I wouldn't have known that from the size of the picture.
ReplyDeleteAnd, also, I'm soooooooo glad to know that you're having fun - and still giggling!
